Here is another Darwinite Tektites, Australia’s version of moldavite. That is they are a green tektite to although more olive-brown. They are found by special licence, on the Darwin Crater in South West Tasmania, Australia. But they are A LOT less expensive compared to the Czech version. Here is a video to watch for this one. This is a tektite due to a meteorite’s interaction with the Earth created a heating of the ground over a sandy desert – the result is glass. They hold a gentler energy of transformation so suit those find moldavite too strong and too quick working. Read more on the Healing tab. The best sale I ever had was to a young couple who were using this crystal to be their engagement/marriage rings. They also suit geological buyer who want a collection of different tektites or all things Australian! They are not as attractive as our Czech Moldavite tektites but we also buy better grade from that locality. Please note, as hard to source, these are never discounted in a sale.
