A dazzling fossilized ammonite pendant with opal inlay, featuring one half of an ammonite fossil from Madagascar with Australian opal inlaid in the outer chambers of the ammonite’s fossilized shell, bezel-set in sterling silver. The inner chambers of the ammonite are aragonite, which replaced the original shell during fossilization. The back of the ammonite features slight flashes of red, green and blue iridescence.
