This is a Sports Illustrated Magazine Issue from September 16, 1974 that was personally autographed by Hall of Fame inductee OJ Simpson. Nicknamed The Juice, he was a former National Football League (NFL) running back, broadcaster, actor and advertising spokesman. Simpson attended the University of Southern California (USC), where he played football for the USC Trojans and won the Heisman Trophy in 1968. He played professionally in the NFL as a running back for 11 seasons, primarily with the Buffalo Bills. Simpson was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1983 and the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1985.
